This Privacy Policy explains how Newdeez collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit newdeez.com, contact us, buy a package, or take one of our courses. It also explains the choices and rights you have.
1. Who we are
Newdeez (“Newdeez,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a digital marketing agency based in Los Angeles, California, founded by Zack Mozes. We provide SEO, web design and development, online reputation management, social media marketing, media relations, and AI search optimization services.
You can reach us at [email protected] or +1 (310) 692-1214 (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm).
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and consultation forms. When you use a form on our site (for example, the contact form, the free consultation form, or a free marketing plan request), we collect what you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, website, the service you are interested in, your preferred time to be called, and your message.
- Orders. If you buy a package through our online store, we collect your billing details (such as name, email, phone, and billing address) and order history. Payment card details are entered with and processed by our payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
- Accounts and courses. If you create an account or enroll in a course, we collect your login details and course activity. If you choose to sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive basic profile information that the platform shares with us, such as your name, email address, and profile picture.
- Communications. When you email, call, or message us, we keep a record of the conversation and any files you send.
- Client project information. When you hire us, you may share business information and access to accounts such as your website, Google Business Profile, analytics, or social media. We use that access only to perform the agreed work.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data. Pages you view, links you click, time on page, referring website, approximate location (city or region, derived from IP address), browser type, device type, and operating system.
- Campaign data. If you arrive from an ad or a tracked link, we may record campaign details such as UTM parameters and whether you went on to submit a form.
- Cookies and similar technologies. See Section 6 below.
3. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries, schedule consultations, and send proposals you ask for.
- To provide, manage, and bill for our services, packages, and courses.
- To send service-related messages, such as confirmations, automatic replies to form submissions, and project updates.
- To understand how visitors use our site and improve its content and performance.
- To measure our advertising, including whether an ad click led to an inquiry, and to show our ads to people who have visited our site.
- To protect the site from spam, fraud, and abuse.
- To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations and to enforce our Terms and Conditions.
If you ask us for information or a proposal, we may follow up with you about our services. You can tell us at any time to stop.
4. Legal bases (visitors outside the U.S.)
Where laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we rely on these legal bases: performing a contract or taking steps you request before entering one; our legitimate interests in running, securing, and marketing our business; your consent, where required (for example, for certain cookies); and compliance with legal obligations.
5. How we share information
We share personal information only as described here. We use service providers that process information on our behalf, including:
- Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics 4, Google Ads (conversion tracking and remarketing), and Google Tag Manager.
- Security and spam protection: Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and Cloudflare, which delivers and protects our website.
- Website and forms: our website hosting provider and the WordPress plugins we use to run forms, pop-ups, our online store, courses, and an on-site accessibility toolbar.
- Email delivery: providers that send form notifications and automatic replies.
- Payments: our payment processor, for online orders.
- Sign-in: Google and Facebook, only if you choose to sign in with them.
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, under confidentiality obligations.
We may also disclose information if required by law or legal process, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, sale, or transfer of our business. We do not sell personal information for money.
6. Cookies and your choices
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We and our providers use them to keep the site working (for example, your cart, login, and spam protection), to measure site usage (Google Analytics), and to measure and target our ads (Google Ads). Some features also remember small preferences, such as whether you closed a pop-up or changed accessibility settings.
You can control cookies in several ways:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some site features may not work without them.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Turn off personalized ads from Google in Google My Ad Center (Ads Settings).
- Learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
- Use an industry opt-out tool such as the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page.
Our site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, which have no common industry standard. We treat Global Privacy Control signals as described in Section 9.
7. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. In general, we keep inquiry and lead records for as long as we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterward, client and order records for as long as needed to provide services and meet tax, accounting, and legal requirements, and analytics data according to the retention settings in our Google Analytics account. When we no longer need information, we delete or de-identify it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, spam and bot protection, and access limited to people who need it. No website or online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send passwords or other sensitive information through our contact forms.
9. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA), gives you these rights:
- Right to know and access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclose it to.
- Right to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require this right.
- Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny you services, charge you different prices, or give you a lower quality of service because you exercised your rights.
Categories of information
In the past 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name, email, phone, IP address, and online identifiers); customer records (such as billing details); commercial information (such as packages purchased); internet or other electronic network activity (such as browsing and ad interaction data); approximate geolocation; audio or electronic information (such as call or email records); and professional information (such as your company and role). We collect it from you, from your device, and from the service providers listed above, for the purposes described in Section 3.
Sale and sharing
We do not sell personal information for money. However, we use the Google Ads tag to measure our ads and show our ads to people who have visited our site. Under California law, making online identifiers and browsing data available to an ad platform for this kind of cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered “sharing.” To opt out of this sharing:
- Email [email protected] with the subject line “Do Not Share.”
- Turn on a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser. We will treat it as a valid opt-out request for that browser.
- Turn off personalized ads in Google My Ad Center.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
How to make a request
Email [email protected] or call +1 (310) 692-1214. To protect your information, we will verify your request by matching information you give us with information we already hold, which may include confirming your email address. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of the agent’s authority and ask you to confirm your identity directly with us. We will respond within the time required by law, which is generally 45 days.
10. Rights in other U.S. states
Depending on where you live, state privacy laws (for example, in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and other states) may give you rights to access, correct, delete, and get a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or profiling. Whether these laws apply to us can depend on thresholds set by each law, but we will honor reasonable requests wherever practical. To make a request, contact us as described in Section 14. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line “Privacy Appeal,” and we will respond within the time required by law.
11. Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. They are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Visitors outside the United States
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Data protection laws there may differ from those where you live. Where the law requires, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers. If laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply to you, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.
13. Third-party sites and platforms
Our site links to third-party websites and platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, Trustpilot, and social sharing tools. Their own privacy policies govern what they collect, and we are not responsible for their practices.
14. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes we may give additional notice. Your continued use of the site after an update means the updated policy applies.
